A new multimedia project consisting of three video installations that accompany visitors during their tour of the tower right up to the terrace where they can enjoy a beautiful view of the town.

The aim of the project was to tell the story of the astronomical clock and its complex mechanisms as well as the events related to the tower by retracing the historical periods of the town through its iconic buildings and places.

Katatexilux also curated the lighting project based on an extremely flexible modular system, which is integrated with the multimedia installation and with the tower’s architectural elements, with the aim of creating areas of light that adapt to the ways in which the spaces are used.

La Torre dei Tempi - Macerata (2024)

Il progetto ha l’obiettivo di raccontare l’orologio astronomico e i complessi meccanismi che lo governano; le vicende storiche e costruttive che hanno interessato la Torre Civica, ripercorrendo, attraverso i suoi edifici e i luoghi simbolo, le tappe storiche della città.

Katatexilux ha curato anche il nuovo progetto illuminotecnico, basato su un sistema componibile estremante flessibile, integrato con l'allestimento multimediale e con gli elementi architettonici della torre, con l’intento di creare ambiti di luce che si adattino alle circostanze di utilizzo degli spazi.
